MASH community solar bulk-buy
Your donation will help us with the new round of the MASH community solar bulk-buy as we aim to significantly raise the number of houses with solar in our region of central Victoria. MASH round 3 launches in July 2016 in the City of Greater Bendigo, Mount Alexander Shire and Macedon Ranges Shire. Our aim with this round is to install solar on a further 600 homes – more than doubling the results to-date. See the MASH Map to find out where MASH solar systems have been installed so far – this map is zoom-able right down to street level!
Solar for low income households
Your donation will help us install solar PV systems on two further properties in Castlemaine lived in by tenants who were previously homeless and are now supported by Castlemaine and District Accommodation Resource Group (CADARG). The MASH project has already installed two free solar systems on homes lived in by CADARG-supported tenants. Savings from the lower electricity bills go directly to the tenants.
More veggie wicking beds for Castlemaine
Your donation will help us build more vegie wicking beds on the footpaths in and around Castlemaine. This will promote sustainable food production, health eating and to inspire people to make their own. $500 buys one new wicking bed.
