MASH2 was at the Castlemaine Farmers’ Market on Sunday 5 July with lots of sunshine, flowers, solar and even free face painting for the kids. It was a great day with lots of interest from both shoppers and stallholders alike.
There’s nothing like getting out to community events and talking to people, said Jo Kaptein, Project Officer at the Hub Foundation. “People like to deal with people, it’s really about building that trust through lots and lots of conversations. And while all the chat was happening, the kids were happily occupied having their faces painted. There’s no doubt that Castlemaine kids are sunshine kids!
