MASH2 community info meetings held this week in Harcourt and Newstead went down well, if the Q&A sessions were anything to go by. Around 50 people braved the cold on Tuesday 30 June and Wednesday 1 July to visit the MASH2 team at Tread Harcourt and the Newstead Community Centre to find out about MASH2. Neil Barrett from the Hub Foundation set the scene starting with the global picture and then progressively zooming in from the national uptake of solar PV, right through to what’s happening in Harcourt and Newstead.
Jo Kaptein, Project Officer at the Hub Foundation went on to describe the MASH2 offer and Morgan Kurrajong, Owner of Universal Power and Light, one of the solar installers working on MASH2 was on hand to answer the many questions people had about solar PV installation.
Thanks to Paula and Andy at Tread Harcourt for hosting the meeting, and to Newstead Community Centre for allowing us to use the venue without charge.
